i dont know a whole lot about single slams but my turbo b16 makes about 100+ whp more when vtec crosses over ..... i can tell you from my experience turbos and the bigger cam profile get along real well

 

Well how much power are you wanting? Is this car going to be a regular at the track, or do you just want more power for the street?

 

just for daily driving fun, i don't exactly want to be the fastest.. but faster than most cars on the street [notice "most"] im not lookin to go anywhere near 400 hp, more or so mid 200.. maybe even going 300 in a couple years

 

In that case go ahead and do a turbo setup. You can easily take mid 200 hp.
