Default What is this?

Hi, I'm a newbie, just got a few basics on the MB6 and stumbled on something.

The diaphram on the intake manifold, with vac hose running under the IM, what's it do? I'm curious because the Skunk2 IMs are straight as opposed to the 'loop' mine has because of this valve.

Also, where do I 'T' in for the boost gauge & BOV?

Thanks
Dan.

THe Skunk2 manifold doesn't have the IAB that the stock GSR manifold has (intake air bypass -- your IM has two different length runners and it will switch between the two depending on your engine RPM). I believe that FPR-looking thing is really part of the IAB system.

It's a MY98 B18C4
Cheers mxs that makes reasonable sense to me. It goes down to something hinged, and there's a bump on the other side of the manifold, so I thought it was some type of 'flap' for something, on all 4 runners.
I'm assuming the skunk2 manifold does away with this idea.
Any advice on the Tee-ing in somewhere for the boost gauge/BOV?
(I'm new on here so if there's a few links with this type of stuff on, please gimme, I'm not a fan of getting shot down for asking what's already been asked dozens of times.)
