What kind of plugs do I need?

Default What kind of plugs do I need?

O.K. I have a turdo 94honda civic with a 1.5 sohc motor I keep hear that I should run a one step cooler plug and set the timing to 2 degrees before BTDC. Waht kind of plugs should I buy. I needpartnumbers could someone help me?

I went to advanced auto and asked for a step colder, they gave me NGK's.
stock no. 4291
ZFR6F-11

Which one is right? I need them 2 steps colder the guys at my advance don't know crap

both numbers are off the same box, and those are supossibly only one step colder. I dono about two steps colder... seems a little much for a 1.5 sohc. is the motor built? I would just go to advance and tell them exactly the kind you want.

The higher the number the colder the plugs get and the lower the hotter.
So for two steps colder it's
ZFR7F-11
