What is a shot?

RE: What is a shot?
cold air gets induced into your intake track somewhere along the line, super cold dense air + gas = bigger boom
a shot is a term used for spraying n2o at some point, a n2o setup to spray 35hp worth of n2o into the system is a 35 shot, one setup to inject 50hp into the system is a 50 shot.
a dry shot is when n2o is injected in the air intake no further than 6 to 8 inchs from the throttle body with no additional fuel added, a wet shot is the same but there are 2 jets that spray....one for n2o and one for fuel.

The best full explenation of n2o is located here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nitrous
one of the key things i did not know for the longest time was that n2o its self is not flammable!
