Default alittle help with my dads blazer

well my dad owns a 97 blazer, and we noticed a trans cooler line was leaking. it is a small hole from vibrating on a corner of something. the pipe looks in good condition so he doesnt want to replace the whole line. (i dont either because it looks like a bitch to get to). so my question is would cutting out the bad section, flaring the ends of the pipes, and putting on a rubber trans hose connecting the line, and clamping it off work? thanks

yes you can cut the bad spot and replace it with a rubber hose and hose clamps, because its not a pressurized hose.

yes i would do it, ive done it to my jeep, just cut the bad spot out, then use a good rubber hose and slide it 2-3 inches orver each line then use clamps to clamp it.
there is no pressure its safe

There is no problem doing the repair with rubber hose, I would use power steering or Hydraulic hose. both come in 3/8". But made sure you find where it is rubbing & make clearance or put a piece of larger hose over to keep it from rubbing through the repair. I have a 97 Blazer 4x4 & I added a B&M SuperCooler & to add that you use rubber hose.
