hello i have a 07 Jetta Wolfsburg edition sedan 5spd, and wanna get another car..i was wondering what is faster in a straight line and on the track

08 Mazdaspeed 3 or 6

08 Altima 3.5L Coupe

08 Accord 3.5L

all of them are manuals..i know the accord weighs the most so give me your opinions?

unless its a Mazdaspeed 3.

1) Altima 3.5
2) Accord
3) mazda 6 V6
4) mazda 3


my personal experience reviews:

1) Altima Coupe 3.5 SR
- the engine has good torque and hp,
- 18" rims, with the multi link suspension it handles like its on rails

2) Accord V6
- lacks bottom end torque
- reasonable handling,

3) Mazda 6 v6
- middle of the pack performance
- family car handling

4) Mazda 3
- four cylinder going up against v6's
- excellent handling due to short wheel base

VERDICT:
buy a MazdaSpeed 3, it has 263 HP and 280 ft. lbs of torque, its cheaper then the others , it held the highest 5 year residual resale value for 2010. and the handling is superb.

well yea compared to mazda speed 3 or mazdaspeed 6 and those cars...which one?

If for solely the track and drag, I would still probably go with the mazda speed 3,
but to live with everyday and have as a daily driver, probably the altima coupe

I have been looking into a Hyundai Genesis 2.0T coupe more and more recently.

Ever look at them, or are you trying to stick with a sedan?

i'd LOVE to drive a genesis, but im on a budget...no more than 14-15k :/

what about a s2000? or RX-8?

Out of all car listed, Speed 3 and Speed 6 are two worth mentioning. Speed 3 would be bang for your buck. Speed 6 can be better from interior and it's all wheel drive, just hate the bulging hood. From a stop a speed 6 would destroy a speed 3 while at the same time the speed 3 annihilate the 6 on a roll.

what kind of car are you looking for:
-coupe?
-sedan?
-2 seater?
-something you'll keep?
-something you'll sell in the near future?
-a newer car?

I'm waiting a few years to buy a gently used Kia Optima SX.

My buddy just got a black SX and it is sweet.

He had a manual 2004 Mazda6 before the Optima and that thing was pretty fast and handled very well in a corner.
