those are some nice pics! wish i had a camera that could do that, my mom does, but i cant afford $1500 for a camera

Thanks man.

As for the camera, just shop around and you can find good deals. I bought this Rebel XT with a kit lens and the 50mm ƒ1.8 (prime) for $220 shipped. I got a bit of a buddy deal, but it's not too far off.

I plan to use this as a learning tool over the next couple years and then spend the bigger money on something more complex.

Awesome pictures Tony. Keep up the good work.
As far as cameras go Kanjarrl, its not really the camera, its the photographer. My mom had a point and shoot and i got some fairly decent pictures with it, I actually have an XSi now and its a very good camera. i think its about 450ish new.

yeah i have got a pretty good point and shoot but i wish i had something where i could change the lenses
