this was a the very first truck sold in manitoba back in the day,a farmer by the name of,"M.KOLMATISKI " east selkirk farmer,raised his family on the farm sold potatoes from his land transported them into town,and ran moonshine on the side,i guess during the hard times had to sell his truck to another farmer,who used it to the ground,sat in the trees for years,until present day spotted bought for 500 dollars and placed in his front yard.word got out of the family name on the side doors,after some pressuring this grandfather came to check out this old truck,he stood there leaning over not moving ,the property owner comes out to check on the old man,to see him standing there in tears," this was my dads truck" the old man had a few sons fly in from the states to all get their pictures taken with their dad beside this old truck,they even ran a short story in the local paper,I got the honor to paint this old truck last night,come fall the new owner will restore this truck and give it to the old man,and he will have my print of this night painting on his wall to remember by.
