Stock Photography Sites - Anyone submit to them?

So does anyone submit photos to those stock photography sites.

I've got several hundred thousand pics from various places/events/parks/animals from over the years.

I'm not sure if my files would be high quality enough for those stock photo sites though since most weren't done with a DSLR.

Any of you make money with those sites?

well, since no one has actually answered you, what sites are you talking about?

My late friend used to shoot for AP and Getty Images. His portfolio was stunning.

You have to have seriously awesome photos for most professional stock photo companies to buy from you. But that's not saying it would be impossible.

It all depends on what the company is looking for when purchasing new photos.

Hmmm, that's kind of what I've been reading after researching those sites.

Even the "amateur" stock photography sites require you to have a DSLR in order to pass their quality tests.

an DSLR?!?!?! Like a Nikon D60?
that would probably work, right?

I have some decent shots of both cars, that turned out really really nice, but still, i agreed, it might be a bit rough
