yea those pics of the church are really good. i wish that i could take pictures that good
Thanks. And believe me, with a halfway decent camera, some reading, practice and patience, you can get good results too. I've come a long way from my first pics and I've seen photos taken with my exact same camera by experienced users that make mine look like crayon drawings. So I've got a long way to go. I will be investing in a telephoto lens, some filters and wide angle lens next. Keep the pics coming everyone...
+1...it doesnt matter what camera you have as long as you know what you are doing. Like my friend, mai, she doesnt even own a camera but she has amazing shots. She even has some polaroid. BTW, have any of you use the old polaroid cameras yet? those are awesome. The only bad thing is that the film is so expensive, 12 bucks for 10 pictures. so expensive.

^ You are so very right Ricepatrol. Check out this link to Ken Rockwell. There's an article he wrote titled Why Your Camera Does Not Matter... He explains that very statement and supports it with a link to Ansel Adams a photographer from the 1940's. This guy didn't have photoshop, all the latest tricks and technology, and his photos were still nothing short of amazing...

EDIT... These black and white photos were made using a 50 year old $3 disposable camera. Pictures... Wow! [8D]
