RB26DETT(Skyline swap) in a 350z

 

 

IMO the 30 should have had a I6 TT or single setup stock. Maybe a new generation of the RB like a RB30 or a RB35

 

i agree the 350Z, or but even if it was just the G35/V35 skyline should have had an RB26TT and not teh VQ35[:'(]

 

I couldnt understand him too much, I was listening to see if he swapped the drivetrain too.......Whats an RB26 w/o AWD? Ya think it would work kappa?

 

Yeah, it works. That's what I had to do with the S14, but you can't use the RB26 tranny, and there's no RWD tranny made for it. I redrilled an RB25 bellhousing to fit it and it worked like a champ.

26 is the displacement (2.6 liters) just like the 16 in B16A1
DE denotes use in a car (could be wrong here)
TT means it is twin turbo

Like this, the jdm silvia's have sr20det's in em

sr is the series
20 means it is a 2.0
de means for car use(once again I think)
T means it has a single turbo setup
