actually he was doing it on purpose. If you see the other vid that was posted, its a little bit longer than this one. In that one, you see him "push the limits" at least one more time.

actually alot of the drifting done on the downhills in japan is done with traffic in the other lane. the other traffic will even stop to let them take their run. not condoning what he's doing by any means, but it's not an uncommon practice.
