Did anyone catch this on t.v. last night? I caught a quick glimpse of a preview for it but forgot to watch the show. This stunt bike rider did, what he calls, the world's fastest stoppy wheelie or some ****.

I'm just looking to see if anyone can find the video clip or anything, I'm searching right now for it...

sorry didnt see it...........but i used to be able to do a decent stoppie..........rolling and then stop in the 11 o clock position i think i was a lil to heavy to attempt a 12 o clock hahaha

 

I saw the preview but did not see the show wasnt he suppoused to do it at like 150 mph?

 

Yeah, I think he got it to like 132 or something like that.

The reason I brought it up, is that the whole thing is pretty bunk. It's really cool that he can do it that fast, but the fact of the matter is it is NOT the fastest ever done. I work with a guy who toured NHRA Drag Racing events (as well as many other events) doing the whole stunt biker thing for years. He said that he's been doing the same thing for a long *** time, the only difference is that he didnt have a radar gun or tv cameras around him. He plans to beat this guy publicly, in both aspects, speed and distant. I can't wait.

I'm not saying the guy in the show isn't good, because that is not the case, he is definitely talented. But it got so blown out of proportion it's ridiculous. It just cracks me up that things like this have been done many times in the past, but then some guy with connections to a T.V. network gets ahold of it, and all of a sudden its this brand new ordeal.

I suppose that's the media for ya..

 

well someone is always better untill proven not...........like the guiness book of world records.

 

I watched it! they built a bike 2 days before he was going to do it and then he had a day to practice and then the next day he was going to do it. he ended up doing a 137mph endo. he beat the world record by 40 some mph.

 

Hopefully my buddy can get his self enough publicity to give this other guy a run for his money. He plans on beating him two ways, Fastest Speed, and Longest Distance, should be interesting. I'm trying to upload a couple vids of the dude I work with, the guy is out of his mind
