Why are some of you guys getting married so young? I thought it was just mormons that got married so young!

 

^ Why not? My searching for someone actually is over. We're not getting married till next year after both of us graduate from college. I figure I can move in after were married and spend a long time together before alone before uhhhh you know.....kids j/k. But as young as I am I'm my own person and know how I feel, we've been together over two years now. I know less responsible adults who have gotten married after like 5 months. And I have promised myself I would not move in with her until were married.

I have heard that living together before marriage makes it tough once you tie the knot... I bet there are plenty of people that do.. but I never did. I never even did anything more than make out before i got married... yep, I was an innocent boy!

Anyway, congrats db. I wish I was best friends with my girl!

 

I will tell you the biggest change for me (besides having to learn how to be a dad,lol) is that you will no longer be able to spend money the way you want. You will always have to talk about it. This isn't to say you won't be able to get yourself anything, but it will definitly take some getting used too. Luckily my wife knows that my car budget will resume once we get back on our feet again!!!!!

B.S., I'm a firm believer that everyone should live together for at least a little while before getting married. You don't ahve to have sex, but living together is an awesome indication as to whether or not the marriage will last. Lori and lived together for 2 years before we got married, so I knew damn well that I could stand being around her 24/7/365. Soooo many people I talked to that did not live together prior to marriage, have run into all sorts of problems now that tehy're hitched and living together.

You'll never know all the little things that will **** you off (or things that you do, that will **** her off) until you've lived together for a while

I was more into it for the surprise... I had been in college so I was used to guys... but a girl is soo much different but I love it... I didnt like my roommates walking around naked but I dont mind so much now.... eheheh
