I've seen people bail out of slow moving cars a get away from the cops (on the show COPS) , the car was stolen so they didn't care if it got taken

 

I've been wishing for something like that for a long time. Ever since i watched a "Worlds Scariest Police Videos" clip of a guy in a vr6 gti damn near out running the cops. The dude was takin' twisties and 90 degree corners like you wouldnt believe. One cop even spun out and slammed into a tree trying to keep up. I forget how it ended, but blah blah blah.

You ever notice how its almost always ****ty cars, or drunk n' stupid drivers that they end up chasing and catching? Wheres the guy in the Evo that decided to run? Or all the crotch rockets that left them in the dust. Be fair, show us everythign!

there is. it like one of those girls gone wile comersials. the advertise them getting chased by cops and winning. it might be worth checking out.

 

There was one where a BMW 3 series outran a Camaro Z28 police car, avoided multiple spike strips, cut across the median and flew the other direction. They claimed they caught him, but you could tell they replayed an earlier clip where the guy slowed down to turn around across the median. The truth is, he got away, went home, and his dad turned him in. So I guess they got him in the end...

 

Since when did cops get z28's, whats next porchses?

 

In Queens NY, cops there were testing 5.0 Mustangs for high speed chases. They would confiscate street racers and paint them and use them as police vehicles.

 

Hell, there are 2 of each here, z28's and mustang 5.0 liters with amnual! For somereason they always are the ones that respond to accidents.. maybe its to chase down a runner or something, i dunno.

But that vid was frickin funny as hell! Good find!

 

The Maryland Transportation Authority (same as highway patrol cops) has all kinds of Z28's and Mustangs (both marked and unmarked) and Georgia they have Suburans and Yukon's, what west where the have the desert with long straight ways there are states that the cops have a few Vette's for high speed chases


Yea I have that video on my computer have the kid in that BMW and actually it was a M5 not a 3 series (sorry but a stock 3 series would never outrun a cop Z28) and the kid was 15 years old and he could drive his @$$ off also. He actually caused the lead officer (the one in the Z28) to spin out and when he did so he hit a bump in the median that caused the cop car to come completely have the ground.

Damn I cant wait to become a cop. Lol
