Could that have caused a fire? If the liquid was flammable, it could have combusted into flames because of the heat caused by the friction. Idiots!

WOW! I'm sorry but that was.... I don't even have words to describe it. OHHHHH!!!! You can spin your tires for a long time using a tire wet solution, WOW you are SOOO COOOOL!! Though I do have to admit I did something similar with a 96 Jeep 5 speed, granted no tire wet crap.

yes. it can definitely cause a fire. I saw it happen at a burnout contest at a carshow. a four cylinder ford ranger sat there spinning them for like 2 minutes, and then all the rubber shavings that were hot, just ignited. it shot flames all up the side of the truck, and all over the track.

Sweet. Did he win?

My buddy loves burnout's. I tell him my goal is to go as fast as I can without burning the tires off my car. Of course he has an 8 second Chevelle that can pull the front wheels. "900 horses of Detroit muscle." He lives his life a quarter mile at a time.

I don't know why that line got so much smack. I thought it was kinda catchy.

yeah, he won. but other than the fire, it was a lame *** burnout. he wasnt really roasting the tires, he just barely kept them smoking. of course they didnt have that oil crap, just some water. and it was a crappy four cylinder, so its no surprise he couldnt spin them fast.
