yeah, it's been posted more than a few times here.

And someone sold the guy the wrong lug nuts; the thread pitch was wrong on the lugs. When he tightened them, they felt tight, and under normal driving, they were fine, but when the added g-forces of auto-x were thrown into the mix, they popped right off.

You should see the longer version... after the car hits the ground, there's a guy looking for lug nuts, commenting that he can't find one of them. I'm not really sure that's something I'd worry about immediately after an $18,000 car (before mods... FDs are expensive) hits the ground at speed.
