marty said sumthin about you gettin it in finally, hope you get it tuned and everything settled with the over boosting prob, like stated above, posible that it could be your wastegate actuater, so goodluck tony! i would still check in on a boost contoroller, they are nice to have!!! and maybe a vtec controller to, those are nifty!!!

 

You gotta know how bad I want to be able to take this thing down the 1320. As soon as the car runs and boosts properly, I will be at the track the next day


Pete, I think you're right about the actuator, probably just needs a little "negotiation." I'll get er figured out. I didn't get a chance last night cause the future in laws were in town, but I'll get under there tonight.


Side note, It ran a LOT smoother this morning with the air being much cooler. I think the running rough issue has been brought on by the 95+ weather we've had over the last couple days. I just need to get a few things situated tonight, and try to get my tuner to find an hour or two of spare time so we can finish this damn thing..

I hear ya, when it's hot and humid out my wrx always feels like the a/c is on, even when it's not! When it's cool out with low humidity- yeeeha!!!!!

looks good man. when i first saw them i was going to make some smartass remark about the 5' lamp but saw everyone else beat me to it. btw i like your turbo-humping buddy's shorts. i have a lot of shorts like that.

It's still not boosting, although I did fix the exhaust leaks, and it runs a LOT smoother now. More updates to come.


AND I PROMISE that will get you guys some engine bay shots as soon as I get it cleaned up.

 

turbo cars love cold weather sooooooo much and then you get into 90+ dgree weather and it always idles rough and whatnot[:@] mine is the same way
