I'm going to wait a while and see which console has more modding support

 

If you want a modded PS3, your going to want to get an older console with a newer chip. I know that the chips for the PS2 (slim) aren't that great, but the chips for the fat PS2 are suppose to be good. But i got my PS2 (slim) from India and my dad hasn't installed my chip for my fat PS2.

 

OMFG. and i don't even like video games...

 

just installed yourself, its not that hard, you just have to be patience soldering all the wires.
but what i mean is i'm going to wait to see which console has more modding support hardware and software wise, for example the xbox is the best to console to mod of all three,

 

man, when they drop GT5, its going to be outrageous on that system. cant wait. any idea when its supposed to hit the market here?

I read an article a few months ago about the PS3, it truly is amazing. The processor system in there is outstanding, and should lead to MUCH more difficult game play.

....Pat, I'm with you, I can't WAIT to see some racing games on that sucker. That's pretty much all I play anymore..

 

On some games they take screen pictures of scenes and actually stick it in the game and then the cg/s and game characters. Which is really coolio of course!

 

um... you guys do know that the PS3 is supposed to run about $600-700 right? no joke, and I think its going to be released in November. They announced that it will be in limited quantities like the xbox360 so expect retailers to not sell them in their stores, but to hike the price up on ebay like the xbox now[:@]

 

according to this site, their info is that release is planed for spring 2006 and the projected cost is going to be around 300.00. however that remains to be seen, we all know it went with ps2, it was over a year past its projected date before it was mass released.

^ thats because Sony got wind of the xbox 360 in time. They re-did the PS3
