Remmy your using a standalone system ratehr than converting to OBD1? I'd definately lose the piggy back and convert man....

and alos re-dyno at a different tuner

Flip, learn a little but more to make a statment like that . Its not a piggy back. I dont even have a Honda ECU in the car. Stand alones can be supreme in many ways but unfortunatly for me, this particular unit is not easy to deal with.
haha yeah i guess i did contradict myself be saying a standalone and a piggyback are the same eh? my bad. So the Power FC totally eliminates your Honda ECU and then you just tune that? And the Power FC came with the car when you bought it? Maybe theres somethin wrong with it

Flip the benefet is the unit I have allows me to monitor everything by looking at an ATM like key pad with a screen.
However, you guys are talking about major money to get a new system in. I talked to Hondata awhile back and with the extensive motor mods I have they strongly reccomended the s300 ecu. I also have to get a new wiring harness along with a p28 unit with thes300 chip... all said and done we are looking at a ball park of $1500.

I didnt take any shortcut with this build.

you could sell the standalone for a few hundred bucks, that could get you halfway to a better setup.

around $1200 for aem ems and as good as crome, uberdata, turbo edit is I'd go with ems over them all unless you can get to a tuner that is authorized to use neptune(Jeff Evans)
