Yeah its crazy. It only has 2 gears total! I think it's like 0-100 is first gear and 100-130+ is second gear.

 

It looks good. I like it a lot. But there's nothing, NOTHING, that can replace the beautiful sound of an internal combustion engine.

 

Another car that appeals to stupid tree huggers.. but this time it is tree huggers with money. People dont realize that electricity causes more emmissions than any nuclear or coal plant. Plants need co2... cars produce co2... the whole green house effect is such crap. I am from the liberal of all liberal states and even we still dont believe all the stuff people come out with... People forget that 50 years ago there was a worldwide panic because the world was cooling... DOESN'T ANYONE REMEMBER THIS? (and dont say it has changed because we have more cars, you're stupid because back then there were no standards on emissions and not until recently is when we have been able to create an "eco-friendly" engine as big as the bad *** ones built in the 1930s-60s) In reality, cars do not cause the problems. The problem is from the industrial side of the spectrum. Electric cars are gay... thats what i should have just said instead of rambling. They will never replace the combustion engine and we will never run out of oil. And as soon as we can get rid of those hippies making these EVs and get an oil drill in Alaska our gas price will go back to 1 buck a gallon.

 

How can you say the greenhouse effect is crap? How can you ignore the fact that ice is dramatically melting, oceans are getting warmer, animals are migrating, bla bla bla...
The earth already has and needs a greenhouse. It helps retain the sun's energy to keep us warm. However, manmade gases are adding to the already existing greenhouse which can become dangerous and has the ability to affect global climate. Yes, the effect is very minimal, but it is there. And even an average rise of 1ยบ C will make a BIG difference.

I think you probably heard someone make that point of view somewhere and decided to go with the flow because you thought this person was cool or something. Open up your mind a little bit buddy... or maybe a book, newspaper, surf the internet, ect. If you want to remain dependent on foreign oil and pay $4 a gallon, then by all means go for it. According to your profile you are filthy rich right? The fact is, gas will never be $1 again and they are never going to tap into Alaska for oil. There are too many people out there with all the power and influence who are tied to the oil in the Middle East and make all their money from it. There's nothing wrong with exploring other options like an EV. And do you even know what you are talking about? This car is emissions free. And you are talking about how electricity causes more emissions than any nuclear or coal plant. WE GET ELECTRICITY FROM THESE PLANTS. What the heck are you talking about? Yes, using these cars will result in us having to produce more electricity, but the bigger point is that you wont be funding foreign oil and funding terrorism. We would have no reason to interact with them without the oil. You are truly misinformed.
