Yeah, but what's it like on the twisties?

It does sounds mean though.

These vids are always in residential areas. Dont these guys know of any industrial areas or parking lots or something.

You know, it does whine pretty good up around 5000+ rpms, but I have never heard it from outside the car. I would be interested in hearing it from the front like that. I am gonna try to get a vid this weekend so I'll post it up for you guys. It's definitely not that loud though.
