i know its fast, but the k series is the worst sounding engine that honda has ever made imo, but i guess thats a bi-product of reving so high

 

- my k20 purrrrs til 4500 rpms, then it growls, SRI with stock cat/exhaust - quiet, and powerful - meek, so to speak

 

ya Midwest's k20 civic is very nice and the K20 is one of the most unique sounding engines I have ever heard. Soooo nice.

 

No doubt it is the best engine they have right now...but it still sounds like ****. Not harping on the engine, just saying they don't sound good.

i love the sound of it! was debateing on taking b16a2 out of my car and going with k-series motor have a friend who has a k20a in his car going to test drive it

 

Guys the sound of that car has absolutely nothing to do with the engine, if he had a high reving B series in there it would still sound like crap, it's the exhaust he has. throw a RS*R ExMag, or APEXi WS2 on that and it would totally change the sound of that car
