Whats up, just felt like getting a little poll going here for fun. There's always talk about which gives better performance, how about which one sounds the best?? Personally I like the turbo sound, the superchargers I've heard make a screaming sound. Its more of a whistle, like a kazoo. I like the whoooshing BOV sound a turbo makes. Different turbos and supers probably sound different and it probably also depends on the engine and pressure in a turbo but this is just in general. Ex: like twin turbos vs single turbos, different setups etc. Correct me if im wrong please.

LMFAO!!!! ^ ive seen that video!! That is soooo sick. Dude that turbo started spooling harcore. You cant tell me a supercharger would sound that sick. And its a del sol too lol... hmmmm....

ps the song "speed of sound" came on by coldplay right when i started watching that video... lol i thought it was a part of the video at first, i was like this honda is about to blast off hahaha.

For the record, there are bypass valves involved with certain supercharger setups which function and sound exactly like BOV's.

I voted turbo. I liked the supercharger sound more (especially on cobras) untill I got my car and took out the silencer to make the turbo louder.

 

You do know the mustang's getting twin GT3076r's once the engine's built, right?
