i wont be shipping it with the whole bottom console part. i will just cut it off where the gear shifter opening is, but youll get the rest so you see exactly how its suposed to be!

What exactly is the cd slave?

 

My friend just picked up a hatch and really wants one of these audio consoles. Do you know if the cd slave plugs into the stock radio or does he need a fancy radio?

thats one thing im not sure about! i have no idea if the factory radio has that round plug hole for it.


the cd slave SHOULD plug into the back of the factory headunit if it has that round plug on the back of the radio and be controlled by the factory radio.
only problem is ive never seen the back of a factory 92-95radio. my old 94 already had a aftermarket radio and all the ones on ebay i look at dont have rear pictures.

but the cd slave is factory since it has the H logo on it so id asume it should just plug in. it was in a EX coupe.
ask him if his radio has any kinda cd on the face. i see a few 94 and 95s look like they have cd buttons on them.

 

I talked to him and he already has a crappy Sony cd player so he doesn't care about the slave cd player.

He has to sign up for HCF yet.

ok well cleaned it up better today and chopped off the floor console junk.
i didnt notice it has a small crack in the cig lighter back piece.
so how about 90 shipped without cd slave.
youll get it just like this....
