FS OH 92 Suzuki GSX-R 600
SOLD!!!!
Prefer to sell to someone with experience with bikes.
I am located in 44663
Updated Price! $1500 VERY FIRM!
Newer 600 motor with about 7000 miles on it.
A Stage 1 jet kit.
New items:
Brain (from Suzuki),
Wire harness,
Carburetor (set by Suzuki),
Head resealed,
Cooling fan,
Battery
The tires have less than 2 seasons (second season consist of less than 100 miles)
The chain, brakes, may need maintenance nothing notable.
Comes with GPS
Bike has never been wrecked or laid down. Plastic pieces have some scratches
Reason for selling:
Limited knowledge on bikes, owning a turboed LS Integra consumes all extra time and money. In fact the money received from selling the bike will go to tuning the Integra. All friends sold their bikes. So now there is no one to ride with. And, a ton more reasons. Never even bought a Bike license, or insurance.
Story Behind the bike,
Bought it in 2005 for $2500.
Rode it very little (learning) in summer. Mostly in large parking lots. Winter came so put the bike away in the garage. When spring rolled around bike would only crank, wouldn’t start.
Then, took it to a shop and put $2000 into it to fix it up.
They cleaned the carbs, reset the head, installed a new computer, and wiring harness, and some other parts.
Got the bike back from the shop and it ran like a dream, still uncomfortable with riding a motorcycle, so didn’t end up riding it much, (Again mostly in large parking lots) Automotive passion was mainly focused on the Turboed Acura Integra (Vette killer) that has more than $20k into it.
Winter came once again and didn’t prepare the bike correctly when it was put away for the winter. It sat over the winter, and (excuse the fact that I don’t know anything about bikes) something gummed up (carburetor maybe?) to where it needs to be cleaned or something. In the effort to start the bike after winter, turned the idle adjuster the wrong way and broke the cable. Therefore the idle is now stuck very low (like 200RPM).
For clarification:
The bike does not currently “start”.
Also, the Speedometer cable is does not work (bought it that way). A nice GPS unit (with mount and cover) will be included to compensate for this. The GPS unit displays the speed.
For these reasons I prefer to sell to someone with experience with bikes.
If have 1500 cash, and can pick the bike up in the New Philadelphia area, please email me soon.
Any questions or concerns let me know.
UPDATE! I will get the bike running and fixed up (all but flairing, meaning fix speedo, idle adjuster, scuffed mirror, fuel ****,) for a final price of $2000.
$1500 as is
$2000 running, with items listed fixed.
