Default Gauging interest

A buddy of mine is starting a shop and will be featuring a few things we will be making ourselves. I wanted to get some feedback from you guys on what kind of stuff your looking for. We will probably become a vendor here on the site if we feel there is enough interest in our stuff. Right now we have these:

92-95 civic coupe/ hatch 4pt Strut Bar and Tie Bar Combo

extremely light at only 8lbs and can be painted any color even factory codes to match your car.

These are very high quality, stong, custom made peices that will look and feel awesome on your car.

We can make pretty much anything for an eg or ek. I want to hear some things you guys would be interested in and maybe we can come up with a product line and become a vendor in the neear future.

nice products, only suggestion is to not paint everything neon colors. maybe polish them or leave them a raw finish with clear. good stuff though.

Thanks man, we can do pretty much any finish or coloryou can dream up. Those particular bars were that color to match the car they were made for. They look awesome in person.

Can you post up some close ups of the welds with no paint on them, and also the specs of the metal you are using.

Two comments, one on your main page you need to lower the volume of the turbo blow off..... it drowned out my music and it was set at moderate listening volume... and second, I've been wanting an x brace but with the way it's set up I'd have to have my full size spare mounted on top of the bar itself, could your bar support it with out bowing or flexing? (I would be open to the idea of a custom thicker unit)

Either way I wish your two the best of luck on your buisness ventures.....

I am the Evans from evans performance. the bov sound was taken from somewhere else and works good on my computer, but it was something a friend of mine came up with. i dont think it will stay.

with this strut bar there would be plenty of room for a full size spare in the normal location but if you wanted fora few more dollars i could weld a mount on for a wheel. the bar is strong enough to hold me(190lbs) jumping on it so im sure a wheel would be no issue at the thickness i am using now

the bars are just mild steel so polishing is out of the question and also just leaving them raw. as far as a closeup of the welds, i dont have any right now and i dont have anything unpainted to be able to take a pic. i may be making more this weekend and if i do i will get a pic or two. its just a mig weld, nothing spectacular. i am working on getting a tig, but this is a side project and i still have a day job so funds arent redily available.

as for the neon colors it really isnt neon, its just a standard blue. this piece is going on a shop project car so i want the parts made by the shop to stand out against the things that i just buy

this probobly jumps around a lot, cause its late. i honestly dont have the metal thickness in front of me but it is 1" square tubing and 1" angle iron for the brackets. i can get thicknesses later if i still have the tag. if not i will just have to wait till i get more

i also havea deal with Megan Racing for a group buy. if i can get $1500 in one order i can get an insane deal. and of course that deal will be passed on to you. there will also be deals with other companies soon. the manufacturers seem to give great deals to new companies so as i find new deals i will be sure to post them.

i tried to contact the site admin about being a sponsor so i could put up a real post about a group buy but i havent heard back. if anyone would like to get in on any EvansPerformance.net group buys please head over to our forum and check in there.

if there is a problem with any of this post due to not being a site sponsor please feel free to let me know and i will edit out anything i should or you can too.
if anythign is mispelled i blame it on it being 1:30am here. lol

Phil, if you are looking for a TIG rig then try look at this one HERE. I have used one and it welds so sweet you wont believe it. Plus it will plug right into a 110 outlet, and only cost about $800. Portable and it will run all day long.

Just figured I would tell yah. Good luck on the venture.

oh, from the original post, i assumed it was aluminum. and i meant neon color as a substitute for 'bright colors', not purely neon itself.

oh, i just checked out the website.
i suggest to: change the background and font color to something easier to read. and then use high quality pictures for the top website picture.

i know the website isn't finished, but just a suggestion to make it look more professional. and show a contact page or introduction page to make the website look very professional looking.

and best of luck.
