the 2screws ontop. and theres 2 snaps on the bottom, one on each corner. sometimes they can be stuck pretty firm just pull hard on one side till it pops loose and then to the other side.

i dont think so..... but i could be wrong... the plug type would be the main difference id think... you could contact the alternator manufacture and ask if a 00civic d16y8 alternator is the same fit for your crx motor... at least i think thats his email adress thats what stated on his ebay account. dominick@tds.net
