FOR SALE - 1997 HONDA CIVIC EK COUPE 500+ HP
hey there...i don't care how much a new civic goes for...if you can read you would know that i don't have a way to post the picture of dyno sheet...and the pictures of the motor are on my other computer at a different residence and i haven't had a chance to go over there to send them here...i know that you never get what you put into a car...so the amount i put into this car is at least twice the amount of what i am selling it for OR BEST OFFER...you can talk all the **** you want. and try to lecture me on posting my car for $20,000...i've been in import show/race scene for a while...it would be absolutely retarded for me to post my car up for $5,000 just because a bone stock civic is worth that much or even a new civic that is worth $10-12,000...if you built my car on your own...i promise you that spend $40,000...i have every receipt to prove it...and most importantly...there is not one problem with my car...runs perfect...which is hard to say for most will a boosted car...
well obviously i'm not selling the car to the genre of people who you are talking about...the truth is 9 out of 10 people can't drive a 500 whp car...I'm trying to sell the car to a person who can't afford...knows that the car is worth $20,000...and doesn't want to deal wit the bullcrap i've had to go through for the past 4+ years...it's no just some show car or some civic with a body kit...rims and paint...the car is well worth $20,000...i'm hoping to get close to my listed price...
No one is talking ****... you just need to relax and quit bumping this thread all the time. It gets annoying, have some patience, you're going to need it.
There are probably only a handfull of people in the whole country who are willing to spend that kind of dough on a car like that. No one can get financing for that much on such an old car, and as stated, most people who are into this stuff like to do there own work. Not to mention we get a lot of trolls on here who claim to have a lot more on their cars than what's really there, and 500hp is a lot for a civic, so naturally most will be skeptical, especially when you have some pics of the car, but for some reason you don't have the important ones (we just went through a similair situation with someone claiming a ton of HP in a monte carlo and it turned out to be a bunch of BS so some may still be fed up from that incident).
All anyone is saying is that you are selling to a VERY small percentage of the market and need to have some patience.

free bump, the car is sweet, looks very well done, marty's not trying to be a dick he's just a realist. I'd try selling it at a show or a local drag strip where you know the people there are interested and some might even be able to cough up enough dough.
