I have a 95 civic coupe ex. My 3rd motor which is a b18c1 (GSR) has a good running head and LSD tranny but no block. I'm looking for a block because I have blown mine while coming back from Las Vegas in early 2004. I currently in the Marine Corps and about to get out in a month. I will be heading back home to San Diego, California in June.

I currently have a B16A JDM block with the B18c1 head. I'm willing to trade a block for a block. Yeah, it look like your losing a liter or two but if you didn't know the B16A is a JDM block from Japan so the piston are high compression set of piston.

The reason why I need a US japanese block (B18C1) is because I have max out my driving record here I California. I have been working with Honda's for about 6 years now and planning to chill out. I need the US mod so I can get my car ref and make it street legal.

I'm willing to buy a block for $500.00 max. Need good condition block so I can past smog.

 

a jap motor will pass smog, but you have to have a USDM ecu, and the usdm intake manifold would make it easier, as it has sensors on it you also need. dont know if that helps, but it helped me to find mine.
