Default Integra Type-R

I was sittin' in the drive-through at Burger King with my son in my 06 Honda Civic EX coupe and i see a yellow car pull up beside me. and the dood inside is starin' pretty hard at my car.

so i roll down my window, and he says "is that the new civic?" and I said "yes."

he asks if he can take a look at my car, and i pull over in the parking lot. the dood is amazed at my car because i guess he hasn't seen any of the new civics yet.

I take a closer look at his car and think DAMM that's an integra TYPE R!!1

His car was yellow with the standard high rear spoiler and tinted windows and that's it. no other outside mods. I was like "JEEZIS, that's a nice car."

it was one svelte lookin' driving machine.

the dood said the new civics are nice, and I told him I'd rather have his car. man, it was nice.

it was just a pared down integra with a big wing and no ricer crap. I bet that car could carve up the road. I love Type Rs...

i still see immaculate ones selling for 20k+. its rediculous how they have held their value. damn beautiful cars though. a buddy of mine bought one with no motor, no suspension (or brakes) and a few missing interior parts for like 7K. crazy.

not for a type r shell. they hold their value even stripped down. and now he has a built 2 liter NA, sleeved, 12.5:1 compression, with some experimental Blox cams. that thing is a beast, but he hasnt had time to get itn on a dyno and get it tuned. i keep telling him that he will shave off at least half a second from his ETs, but he still tries having a friend tune it at the track[:@]

the three guys that designed the 06 civic, one drives a tuned S2000, another drives a Civic SIR (tuned as well, and the other drives an Integra type R(also tuned), so it was just natural that they came up with a damn good car,for both street and track,

Makes 3 of us as well, i would love to have a Tuype R

I want a Type R too! My friend bought an 01 LS and did a complete swap, all type R parts. Its so sweet. He just has the stock spoiler on it, CF hood, and gunmetal rims. And the interior is all black suede. And a few other things. I wanted to buy it this summer when I bought my Si, but he wasnt done with the swap. Actually, he probably is still working on it. Hes a bit of a perfectionist, with not enough time to just work on his car. I cant wait to see it in action. Hes like my main import enthusiast friend here.
