Ok, so i have about a thousand to play around with right now. I am deciding between new 02-05 civic si seats, apexi ws2 exhaust with hi flow cat, and new wheels (since mine weigh 25lbs. a piece). Pick two and leave comments. If i get wheels i most likely will get falken hanabi's, rota slips, rota circuit 8's, or rota sub-zero's.

 

Its "show" or "go". I like to "go". WS2 and Cat FTW.

 

Seats...depends on if you really want them. Me having a bad back...I had to get better seats. If you really want them, do them first.

 

Pick two guys, I have enough cash laying around to do two of the three.

also, the wheels aren't really all "go" since my current ones weigh 25 lbs. so it's strippy a LOT of weight.

 

Get wheels and exhaust then you get show and go all at th same time!

I would say wheels are performance

 

You got 1000? Go for rims/wheels

 

going from a 25 lb. wheel + the tire weight to a sub 15 lb. wheel and lighter tire is definitely considered a performance upgrade.

2500lb. car with 100 hp = 0.04

2400lb. car with 100 hp = 0.041666666666667

that's almost the equivilent of 4 hp increase, without even looking or touching the engine. and wheel weight (unsprung weight) plays an even greater role in performance.

so my choice are wheels and maybe some small touches, then save up for something else, you don't have to spend money because you have it.

 

I think that`s a good point. "you don't have to spend money because you have it".
I would go for some really nice wheels and save the rest of it. But hey, it`s your call.
If i would have to pick two, i`d go for wheels and exhaust.
