Default 14' to 17'

I want to replace the stock 14" on my 00 Civic EX coupe with a set of 5zigen bronze 17". The wheels run $300 each and the tires are around $100-$130 each. Does anyone know of a cheaper or more extensive selection of the 5zigen wheels. I think 1200 is a little steep for a set of 17's

Whoa, where did you find that price?
Check out tirerack.com.
I am not at my regular computer at the moment but as soon as I get back I will send more wheel/tire websites.

You have to have 5zigen wheels? Chances are they are going to be expensive. That's just my guess. Plus 17's are going to look kinda big on your 00 ex. The wheels in my sig are 16's on my 99 ex. There are plenty of wheels out there that aren't going to be $300 a wheel.

They are the ProRacer GN+ series wheel in bronze. That is the only style wheel i will settle for, but if another company has the same look i will buy them instead. I love that thick 6 spoke design. I would go with 16" but ive scene my buddies on 17's with a mild front lip, sideskirts, and rear underbody kit and it looks badass. He doesnt have any issues with rubbing either. The way i see it more tire more grip.

Another thing to consider is that the vehicle i just inherited has only 13.000 miles on it and has been garaged its whole life. It is a dark green coupe completely stock. I want to eventually build a show car out of it but i need to start with the shoes and the suspension before i get carried away with anything else. That is why i want nice wheels. This car is a diamond in the rough.

$300 is pretty damn high for wheels. There are plenty of 6 spoke designs out there. But I like bronze on the dark green civics.

Devney...what is your car lowered on? Looks sick.
