ORIGINAL: ej6buddy

oh, and no, none of those size wheels will rub considering you choose the proper tire size.
alright well ive been around long enough to know that you know what your talking about so i guess its gonna be the 15x7.
still back and forth about the white and black but right now i'm leaning more toward the white.
thanks guys i really jsut don't want any rubbing!

oh hey ej6buddy are yours 15x7 or 15x6.5?

wait nvm i just went to July ROTM and saw that they are 15x6.5. hmmm...now i don't know about 6.5 or 7...

also the top pic is my favorite. i'm plannin on within the next year doing a type r project, repainting the car championship whiteand getting a b16b type r swap and everything.

be careful with the 15x7, i can't remember what the offset for that wheel is (i'll prolly check it out later).

if i were you, i'd just go with 15x6.5's (that's what i have) and they are perfect, i have 195/55/r15's and they are perfect, some people will tell you to go 205's for about 10 mm more of tread patch, but it won't make a noticable change in performance or handling.

ok so it looks like 15x6.5 is best. and i'm prolly gonna go with white

anyone know where I can get a good price on rota slipstreams? I have searched around and the cheapest I can find is JLBMotorsportsthat has a set for $420 shipped.also I found Tirez.net that I can get a set for 440 shpped or with either Hankook or Falken tires mounted and balancedfor 790 or 820 shipped depending on the tires.

Are these good deals? and are these websites reputable? is it a good idea to trust the websites to mounting and balancing the tires or should I just buy the tires locally?

Pick a set of these tires and save yourself a bundle.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Sizes....odel=Tech+M500

The first two sizes will fit and it looks like you can get a wider tire (205/50/15) for less money than you can the 195/55/15s. So $420 + $240 = $660

That's hard to beat!

jlbmotorsports is very reputable, i've purchased: rims, lugs, and coilovers from them, very good deals, and very good customer service.

hehe today went and talked to a guy up at discount tire and he said that he could order rota slips 15x6.5 and that he would match jlbmotorsports.com's price of $420 for a set. also got me a good deal on some Falken zx-512 (i think thats the model) 205/50 r15 (goin with 205 cuz they're the same price as 195) with hazard waranty, balance and labor all for a total of $780. which is less than ordering the cheapest tires off of tire rack and going and getting them put on. that was gonna cost around $850 maybe more, i'm just kinda estimating labor. so i'm getting the same wheels and better tires for less price!so i will hopefully be doing this in the next 2 or 3 weeks!
