Default 17inch rims, upgrading from 15. question

I was wondering, if there was anyway to keep my speedometer close to normal if i upgrade my rims from 15 inches to 17. My thoughts were i could get low profiles tires that would end up having the same Circumference as 15's with high profile tires. if not can it be done with 16's.
thanks

Where do you think i should get my rims and tires? I was thinking discount tire.
and what size tire do you think would look/work the best without any rub, or even getting close to any rub.

the tire size will change as the rim size changes, so your speedo will be fine.

A 205/40/17 is 23.69 inches tall
A 205/50/15 is 23.36.....1/3 of an inch shorter.....a great fit!

Here's a good tire calculator that lets you compare tire sizes. You want to keep your tire size within 3% of stock height.
