18's on a 94'?

RE: 18's on a 94'?
If they're as light as stock, the correct width, and the correct offset...Yes, they'd work on a 5th gen. I wouldn't recommend it though. Potholes will be harsh and potentially damaging. Tires will also be harder to find in the correct size. You would need like a 205/35-18, along with the correct rim width and offset, to fit without issues. 17s will be a little easier to find tires for (205/40-17s), but they'll still be harsh-riding and prone to damage. I'd recommend lightweight 16s with some 205/45-16 UHP tires. They'll handle better than stock, while still riding and taking potholes ok.

i think i know what he means; the ebay companies only sell like 17"s and 18"s, and they're SUPER cheap. But i agree with My05, "bigger the rims, the more baller!" Yeah thast not the idea with Civics haha anything over 17" will look odd, and with 18"s the ride will just be crazy stiff. I say go with 17"s and make sure you drop it a little bit to get rid of the wheel gap. Also try and get wheels that overall are really close to stock size. That way they will look as close to normal as possible.

would never fit. One more thing, the size tire you would be forced to run as stated above 205/35/18. Stretch that on an 8 inch wide wheel, or even a 7.5.....whew?
