I'm not really familiar with that chassis, but tha'ts probably the case. why do you think you can't install it? My civic didn't come with a rear swaybar, but I installed an aftermarket one anyway... you just need to get the right hardware

heh, the thing is, stock sway bar should come with end links that are being attached to the big low control arms. there are special mounts sttached the arm where the end link should go, and they are not there!
that sway bar on the picture is wha supposed to be there, but nothing is there. i was pretty shocked that i dont have a stock sway bar, if you guys have more pix of 01-04 civics rear suspension pls post em

if you had bought a proper kit, it would have come with all the hardware. You can probably piece together what you need, here:

here is what i found about my progress sway bar
http://progressauto.com/store/produc...roducts_id=489
Honda Civic 2001-2003 rear sway bar adapter kit[/b] is for any of the Honda Civics that did not come with the rear sway bar from the factory (i.e.: LX models). This kit includes end-links and adaptors for the rear lower control arms to accept the new end-links.
i guess i have to shell out another 120$ to get my sway bar up and running...
