Default 22mm sway bar to big? Get somthing else?

Well I did get a sway bar and brace a wile back, but from reading threads on the net, I'm getting worried that the 22mm sway bar will be to big and could possible still put to much stress on the sub frame even with the brace (just what I have been reading). Should I give up my 22mm and go for something smaller? What size should I go for? Maybe15mm?

If you're worried you can get a stock Si (SiR for you) bar. it's smaller, like 18mm or something.

Ya the type R has a factory brace so its made for it. I also heard softer springs with a thicker sway bar puts more stress on the sub frame as well, and I don't have a front sway bar right now, so maybe a 22mm wouldhave to much effect on over-steer.

if ur that worried, just get the Beaks subframe brace. its like $70+ shipping. with ur spring rates, i wouldnt be concerned about having too muchoversteer. it'll probably be fairly neutral.

Ok one other question, if I were to get the 17mm sway bar, what would I have to change on my brace? Just get thicker bushings?

bushings that fit a 17mm bar and brackets to match.
