RE: 4 lug conversion to 5 lug
well when you say straight swap what part are you referring to?
If you get the steering knuckle from a 5lug Si, and calipers, disks, pads, and obvious misc parts then i believe it is, but do'nt quote me on that. any reason why you wanna do the swap? usually people do it just so they can say, "yeah i have a 5 lug conversion" cause other then that it isn't necessairy really. you can get big brake kits for eh 4 lug, and there are a plethora of wheels available too |
RE: 4 lug conversion to 5 lug
im wanting to put type r wheels on my car, right the moment it has a 4 lug setup, i can get parts of a type r for cheap just wondering what will i need/
thanks for the help |
RE: 4 lug conversion to 5 lug
as far as i know, it would be the steering knucle and everything on it and that is the main thing requied. as well as new break lines for the calipers i believe, but that is minor. if you can get it cheep then hammer down man,
