4 Strut Bar Install ?
 

I just ordered these off ebay. 4 Megan Strut bars, and I know where to put the front and the rear, I mean I've seen write ups on how to install those two. But I'm puzzled as to where I am supposed to put the other two. Any suggestions ? I think I've seen them inside the cabin across the back seat ? I'm not sure but I want to get the maximum amount of support out of these bars, so yeah, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

you have:

front upper strut bar
front lower tie bar
rear upper strut bar
rear lower tie bar:

This is the rear tie bar. The front tie bar mounts similarily in the front.

the tie bars attach under the car, on the subframes (lower beams).

Oh Snap I didn't even think about the tie bars. Thanks for the reminder, so I have both upper and rear strut bars as well as upper and rear tie bars. Sick.

Also, do these reduce body sway a lot ?

well they may help a bit.... but they are mainly to just stiffen up the car a bit. feels alittle more responsive.
just cross your fingers and pray that your LCA bolts arent siezed!

What are the LCA bolts? I'm guessing bolts underneath the car that are impossible to unscrew ?

MAYBE..... id say guessing 80% of the time those bolts sieze up! it just happens.... the LCA bolts are the ones on the Lower Control Arms
with the lower bars thats where they go on that inner lca bolt.
those LCA bolts is the WORST for any rear suspension modification.
tho cross your fingers and try to turn those bolts.... if they turn alittle YOUR GOLDEN! if they dont budge :(

does anybody on here run the megan strut bars? i was wondering how these were...was looking into getting a set when i order my coilovers

Well, mine are coming in a few days. So, in a few days I'll do a write yup and let you know for sure. I hope my LCA bolts aren't seized. Also, is there a specific tool I should be using to try to remove these bolts ? Any suggestions on the optimum tool for this job ?

not realy... typical wrenches will get the job done... just with the top strut nuts dont overtighten them...... they might snap.

the inner bolts dont seem to seize up as much as the other ones. i have yet to see them snap.
