I was thinking about converting too. I talked to a few mechanics and apparently its a royal pain in the *** and isnt worth the money to pay to have it done.

I'm going to do this eventally. I don't know about the RSX stuff, integra type-r stuff will fit though. Can't be much harder than your standard disc conversion, can it?

I don't know for sure, but I highly doubt they will fit. The RSX is a macpherson strut car, not a double-wishbone car like earlier Civics/Tegs. Like I said I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't spend my money before I knew for a fact that they'll swap over. Knowing car manufacturers, I'd say it's highly unlikely.

thank you Mabus. youre right. it is a totally different setup. of course it could be done, but it would be a ton of custom work, and honestly, double wishbone is a better basis to work with. if you really want 5-lug, get the stuff from a 98-01 type r. it bolts on, and has big rotors as well. though if the price is really good on that type s stuff, picking it up to sell might be a good idea. the type r stuff is expensive, but its possible to find it for around a grand with JDM type r wheels too.

Sorry to dig this back up but... is the pic logically possible? I was never gonna do a cnonversion BUT these are the only wheels I have ever seen that look so sweet on my car.
(actual pic of my car with photo shopped wheels [thanks to Marnie])
