Default 500HP what brakes?

I am currently overhauling a 93 integra and modding it up to have around 500hp. Can i have recommendations for a brakes upgrade.

It is currently 4wheel disk. Should i get better rotors, pads, calibers? What brands are better than others? Does brembo make brakes for honda? i know brembo for the best brakes for bikes, anyway thanks

Most people just use stock.

If your willing to dish out the $2K price tag, Brembo GT Brake Kit is the best in the market...not 100% sure if they make it for 93 tegs tho, so sorry i can't be much help...

i assume this is only a drag car so some Brembo slotted and Hawk HPS pads should be plenty to slow ya down.

It depends what kind of racing you will be doing. If you are doing drag racing then you shouldn't need a really aggressive brake set up so brembo slotted rotors + Hawk pads should do the trick. If you race at the track (non drag) then you might want to look into the Brembo big brake kit. The brembo set is $2k but I think other companies (willwood maybe) make cheaper kits.

For a 500whp Honda, stock is more than enough. You won't have traction worth **** on the street, and at the track you've got quite a good amount of time to slow down. Brembo blanks and HAWK pads would be the most I'd put on it, but that's after you warp your stock brakes brake-boosting on a 600whp Nitrous Camaro... get what I'm saying?

yes. im using Hawk HPS pads with oem rotors and oem calipers, no problems and i love how much better braking is. if i can do multiple autox runs with just these pads and oem rotors in 80+ degree weather with no problems, doing a few passes on a drag strip will be just fine.
