Default 97 Civic tire fit.

I have a 97 Civic with 185/65/14 on it. Family member has a 01 Civic with 185/70/14 tires whitch are brand new and trading it in. Said I can switch them out if I want them. I know they are a litle taller but I was woundering if about rim and wheel well fit. Thanks.

The 185/70/14 is a little over 3/4 inch taller. They should fit fine, it just may throw off the speedometer a bit.

...and your car will look a bit more dorky. Seriously, going to higher profile tires will probably hurt your steering response and overall handling. Tires like that look more like donuts than tires.
