Default abs brakes?

Would you be able to put abs brakes in a normal car?
i ask this because i'm trying to buy a civic vx that's going to be my car for multiple years down the road, and it would be nice to not have abs brakes for that time

what would i have to buy
what would i have to fabricate/do to get it in/working?

Its gonna be alot of work and alot of money. I don't think its worth it. Your going to need to change the axles to ones with the trigger wheel on them as well as the rear hubs (or wherever the trigger wheel is located in the rear) . Your going to need to change whatever the speed sensor mounts to. Your going to need to wire all 4 speed sensors to the ABS computer. Your going to need to buy an ABS modulator. Those are just the parts i thought of off the top of my head. ABS stuff is not cheap. If i were you, i would jus get rear disc brakes and good pads all the way around and call it a day. I've driven in rain quite a bit and ive driven is some pretty bad rain as well. I've never driven an ABS car (been driving like 3 years) and i've never had any problems in the rain. Go out on a rainy day in a parking lot and purposly lock up the wheels (do so carefully). Then try and get them to unlock. You pretty much brake until you feel the wheels locking up then you take your foot off the brakes to avoid the lock up and then get on the brakes again. I'm actually getting pretty good at it and its really not that hard.

ABS is worthless if you can drive.
