aftermarket rims?

RE: aftermarket rims?
...only if you get very light (11 lbs or less) rims, which will free up some torque/acceleration. Unfortunately, the lightest rims at good prices are mostly 15-inchers. To get larger wheels that are also super-light, you have to go forged aluminum and they are fairly expensive.

RE: aftermarket rims?
To answer the initial question of will there be a big differnce with aftermarket rims, YES. A wheel that is wider and has a smaller aspect ratio is going to give you a DIRECT difference in the way your car handles. Definatly get some wheels, you'd be amazed at the difference, though I'd suggest dropping your car first.
