Do coilovers replace the stock springs AND shocks or not? If so, it seems coilovers can be cheaper than a spring/shock combo.

I believe it is a coil replacement w/ a top and bottem that can compress the coil for ride . Measured in turns/threads/clicks?

sleeve coilovers replace only the spring, but an actual coilover suspension will replace the spring/shock. real coilover sets tend to be a good amount of $$$ though
