Annoying squealing! HELP

Default Annoying squealing! HELP

I jsut got the rotors and pads changed, the brakes squeal like a bi** but only after the brakes warm up after driving for a while. Whats wrong!! It is...sooooooo annoying. PLZ Help.

squeel??? did you install the breaks right??? did you wash the rotors so they are free of oils?

sounds like the calipers aren't releasing all the way, you're probably rubbing all the time but it just squeals when it's hot.

pull off the wheels and check if the pads are seated right and not loose. If its an older car, the calipers might need a rebuilt or the caliper pins might be stuck (the posts that hold the two halves of the caliper together)

um i know my mom got new pads on her accord that werent honda pads and they squeaked a lot. I was told that hondas dont like pads other than honda ones. Dunno, just sayin

Just when im braking, i talked to my ex auto teacher, n he told me that the installation of the rotrs n pads was pretty hacked n that we should replace the bushings aroudn the calipers along with a bunch of other maintenance sounding procedures. Hopfully this will eliminate the problem, if not maybe i will try to get honda pads, or ceramic pads. When we take off the wheels to install the bushings, hopfully hell also be able to tell me if the calipers need to be rebuilt or what not. Ive been driving around with the squeaky brakes for like a couple weeks now....it's ridiculous.
