Default Ball Joints problem

Not sure the best way to handle this problem ball joints bolts are spining inside so i can't tighten them back up. does that mean they are screwed and need new one or is it just a matter of opening it up it sucks because they are all stcuk half on can't back them off really or tighten them...

if the tip is sticking through the nut, you can sometimes use a 4" C-clamp to clamp the tip of the bolt and clamp it down so it wont move, then use an open-ended wrench to turn the nut. if you cant do that, then sometimes you can just press the ball joint into the mounting hole hard enough to seat it enough to turn it.
