Best size tires for 15" rims?

i have some 15" rims but i am considering to go with 205/50/15. However i have been told about the issue of fender rub with this size. So should i go with the 195/50/15 instead? its a 2002 exi civic (japanese version)

Both will be fine, that is if you have the correct wheel offset for your car.

You should go with the 195 for speedometer readout purposes.

I have the 195 50 15 and they are good.
I said maybe I will put 205 at the back and keep the 195 on the front.

that doesn't make sense, your car is FWD. Staggered wheels/tires in that configuration is done on RWD cars.

Well, 185/65/R15's are factory equipment i believe, a performance tread would be something like a 195/60/R15 with a very little drop. That should keep everything factory spec with no tire rubbing problems.

yeah trust I know that but it's just for the looks.....hey this car is for me and to hell with what people might think.
Y'all might think it looks dumb but I don't mind. :)
FAK IT
