So as I drive my car I realise I would like a little bit tighter turning and handling(besides suspension, that will come anyway) but I have noticed that the response when I turn the wheels is a little slow. I have power steering now and plan on retaining it, but would like to stiffen up the response feel, has anybody else done this or wanted to do this or felt that the steering was lacking? Think about the resonse of a VW Jetta, or anything German for that matter!!!!

 

thats just a flaw in a power steering rack and pinion setup. i dont think theres much you can do about it.

 

widers wheels/tires and stiffer suspension will help the steering be more responsive...also tire pressure.
